Enquiries are answered by a person, not a queue, so a reply may take a few days.
If you are reporting a page on this site, say which page and what the problem is. The Terms of Service set out what happens next.
If you are making a request about your own personal information, the Privacy Policy sets out what you can ask for and how a complaint is escalated if you are not satisfied with the answer.
If something on this site does not work for you, the accessibility statement below sets out what we commit to, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us.
LVXP.AU
Version 1.0 : Effective 23 August 2026
1.1. LVXP.AU exists so that a person can hand out one address instead of explaining themselves repeatedly. That purpose fails if the address itself is unusable, so accessibility is a condition of the service rather than an improvement to it.
1.2. This statement records what we aim at, what we commit to, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us when something does not work.
2.1. This statement covers the pages at lvxp.au, including member pages, the sign-in and registration pages, and the account dashboard.
2.2. It does not cover a website you reach by following a link from a member page. Those websites are operated by other people and have their own accessibility positions.
2.3. It does not cover a file uploaded by a member. Clause 6.4 explains why.
3.1. We aim at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
3.2. This is a target, not a conformance claim. No formal accessibility audit of LVXP.AU has been carried out, and no automated or manual conformance testing has been completed. We do not claim that the site meets Level AA, and we will not make that claim until it has been tested.
3.3. LVXP.AU runs on LinkStack, third-party software published under an open source licence. Its markup, its themes, and its interface come from its developers. We can choose a theme, report a defect upstream, and in some cases apply a local change, but we do not control the codebase and we should not imply that we do.
3.4. We will complete a first accessibility review of the site by 31 December 2026 and update this statement with what it finds, whether or not the findings are favourable.
4.1. We will serve the site over an encrypted connection and will not require a plugin, an extension, or a specific browser.
4.2. We will not use an interstitial, a pop-up, an auto-playing video, or an animation that cannot be stopped.
4.3. We will not use a cookie banner. Section 12 of the Privacy Policy records that only necessary session cookies are set, so there is no consent to collect and no overlay to dismiss.
4.4. We will not require a visitor to create an account, sign in, or complete a challenge in order to read a member page.
4.5. Where we are told of a barrier, we will respond within 10 working days, tell you whether we can fix it, and tell you plainly where we cannot.
4.6. Where a barrier comes from the underlying software, we will report it to the developers and record it under Section 6.
4.7. Where we cannot remove a barrier, we will provide the same information by another means on request.
5.1. A member writes their own page, and several things that affect its accessibility are theirs rather than ours.
5.2. Link labels. A label that describes where a link goes is usable by a person navigating by screen reader. A label such as "click here" is not. Members are asked to write labels that make sense read on their own.
5.3. Profile images. Where a member uploads an image containing text, that text is not available to a screen reader.
5.4. Uploaded files. A file uploaded by a member carries its own accessibility, and a document exported without a heading structure or without tagged text will not be readable by assistive technology.
5.5. We do not edit a member's page to improve its accessibility, because it is their page and Section 5 of the Terms of Service leaves its content with them. We will offer guidance on request.
6.1. This list is honest rather than complete. It records what we know at the effective date of this version.
| Limitation | Position | Target |
|---|---|---|
| No formal accessibility audit has been carried out | Acknowledged. Section 3.2 applies | First review by 31 December 2026 |
| Theme colour contrast has not been individually tested | Themes are supplied by the underlying software and have not been measured | Assessed in the first review |
| Member link labels are not reviewed for clarity | A member writes their own labels. Clause 5.2 applies | Guidance offered at registration, not enforced |
| Profile images carry no alternative text | The software does not offer a member a field for it | Raised with the developers |
| Files uploaded by members are not checked | Clause 5.4 applies | Not planned. The file belongs to the member |
| A software update may introduce a barrier | We do not control the release | Checked after each update |
6.2. Where a limitation in this table prevents you from getting information you need, clause 4.7 applies and we will provide it another way.
7.1. Write to [email protected]. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Tell us what would work better for you if you know.
7.2. You do not need to use technical language, and you do not need to identify which guideline is engaged.
7.3. Clause 4.5 sets out our response commitment.
8.1. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to a regulator. Both a Commonwealth and a Western Australian pathway are available, and you may choose.
8.2. Australian Human Rights Commission. Complaints about disability discrimination in the provision of goods and services, including online services, may be lodged under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth). The Commission's conciliation process is free and confidential.

8.3. Equal Opportunity Commission of Western Australia. Complaints may also be lodged under the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), which prohibits disability discrimination in the provision of goods and services at sections 66A to 66H.

9.1. This statement will be reviewed when the first accessibility review is completed, when the underlying software changes materially, and otherwise annually.
9.2. The version number and effective date at the top of the published page identify the version in force.
